We are located on Shoreline Golf links and feature a spacious dining area for your guests with a stunning view of the lake and golf course. Whether your special day is intimate or extravagant, our experienced staff is ready to help provide you with the event of your dreams. We specialize in planning beautiful weddings and outdoor ceremonies and will take care of every detail and satisfy the needs of your guests. Our ultimate goal is to turn your moments into unforgettable memories. We host a variety of different types of events, rehearsal dinners, receptions, conferences, anniversaries and any special celebration. Our ballroom can hold up to 200 guests and can be decorated to your liking. We offer a wide variety of hors d’oeuvres, main dishes and desserts to choose from as well as many beverage options. Here at Michaels Restaurant, we want to provide you with exquisite customer service and exceed your expectations by turning your event into an unforgettable occasion. We are located in Mountain View, California, right in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our convenient location is off highway 101 and 85 on Shoreline Boulevard. We are close to downtown Mountain View, NASA Ames Research center and the Shoreline Amphitheatre.

Whitney Katsanes
Private Event Sales & Marketing Director
Whitney was born & raised in Santa Clara, CA. She started in the event industry at a private golf country club after working as a receptionist and being involved in assisting the event coordinators. She liked being an outsider looking in and seeing ways she can be innovative and different as each event is unique. She loved seeing the expression of clients coming in the day of their event and finally seeing their hard work come together. She got promoted to Event Coordinator and began her career. She has coordinated weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events, and other life events between 20-3,500 guests over the last 10 years. One of the aspects she love's about choosing this career is taking the smallest idea and creating something unique and special for each client. In her free time, she love's taking day trips to the beach with her husband, son and dog. She is grateful for the amazing mentors she has had so far throughout her career and looks forward to expanding her knowledge of the business and paying it forward.

Event Spaces & Ceremony Sites
Grand Elegance at Shoreline Golf Links
The Grand Elegance Ballroom is accented by beautiful windows on the golf course facing wall allowing for a full view of the course and scenery. The Ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests for a sit-down meal with ample room for a dance floor and staging for a bridal party head table. The Ballroom opens to our outdoor patio which is a perfect setting for pre-function cocktails and hors d'oeuvres
The Patio
Our Outdoor Patio offers an intimate setting for any wedding related event, offering seating for up to 70 guest outside of our ballroom your guest can easily access the reception area during your event and serves as the perfect cocktail area after the wedding while the wedding party is taking pictures.
Ceremony Site
The Rengstorff House Ceremony site features three, distinct lawn areas, many with adjoining brick patios. In addition, on-site is an idyllic, restored windmill and water tower structure that serves as a picturesque location for "first look" event images.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Michael’s Restaurant for making our wedding a dream come true! Their service was exceptional. The Manager Whitney ensured our wedding planning was smooth and stress-free. When another manager, Kelly, stepped in to handle part of the planning, she seamlessly brought everything together. The food was outstanding—my husband still raves about the chicken Florentine. The setup and decorations were perfect, and both our families still talk about our wedding. If you're planning a wedding or any event, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Management of Michael's changed in January 2019 and the faculities went through a remodel. When reading Yelp reviews of Michael's you should focus on reviews after Jan 2019. I used Michael's for a dinner banquet with about 50 people in Feb 2019. This event was similar to an event I held at Michaels in Feb 2018. We had a cash bar coacktail reception, followed by a buffet dinner. We had a presentation setup with projector , screen, podium, and sound system. The previous management did a good job in 2018, the new management did a better job. The food tasted better (all items were fresh and tasty with good portions). The new Director of Private of Events was easier to work with in planning and ordering than last year. Parking is very easy for dinner quests. Michael's is an excellent alternative to local hotels and larger restaurants in Silicon Valley if you want to hold a banquet event with good value for money. I would grade my 2019 experience as excellent and I expect I will hold a similar event again in February 2020 at Michael's
